Mukura Victory Sports president Jean-Damascene Ndamage and his assistant Eugene Sakindi have stepped down from their positions after just one year in office. The duo were elected on February 12, 2022 to run affairs of the Huye-based club replacing Olivier Mugabo who left the top position after he was elected president of Rwanda’s football governing body (Ferwafa). Ndamage and Sakindi announced their resignation on Saturday, February 18, during the club's general assembly held in Huye. They, however, accepted to remain in office until February 28 to give the club time to elect new bosses. Times Sport understands that the club is struggling due to financial constraints and the duo felt neglected a few months after they took over the club's office which has now culminated in their decision to quit the job. The club is scheduled to name a new president and vice in the coming weeks.
