Editor, I have been following closely the issue about the alleged irregularities in the renovation of Parliamentary Buildings with emerging reports citing shoddy work done by hired contractors. However, I happy to learn that the National Public Prosecution Authority is taking a further step and will soon start investigating the alleged irregularities cited during the renovation and bring the culprits to book. Allegations against the contractors over the alleged shoddy job were first raised by some lawmakers but it seems people in charge of punishing the culprits are dragging their feet. The funds paid to contractors were drawn from national coffers and it must be accounted for properly. We are behind you prosecution. Eddie NtambalaNyagatare
