The Un-Mathematician Math Lover

Sincerely I love math. In fact I have loved math since I was a kidSince I was in kindergartenI liked to Subtract, Add, Multiply and Divide figures My favorite computation was “1+1”Simple, the answer is 2I called myself a mathematician. I was nurtured, as I discovered my destiny in educationI then find out “1+1” does not equal to “2” anymore!My teacher stood in front of the class and said… “I can prove to you that “1+1 is not “2”!Can anyone imagine this!“Noooo!” I always disagreed!Even when I he proved it right, I never understoodI was just the Un-mathematician math lover. As I grew up, I was forced to look for “X” Every calculation leads me to find “X” “X+2=10, then comes the big question… “Find x?” Such calculations, gash, why? Why look for X when I can see it right there?I was wrong; I even failed to tame my favourite topic, Algebra I spent 11 years looking for X, but couldn’t find itI was only the Un-Mathematician Math lover! Then came one of my favorite topics, Money MattersIt’s obvious why it seemed my favoriteBecause I was fond of counting money in my mother’s bagBut my marks from the math test,Devastating, they were!! The look of a mathematician dividing, subtracting and multiplying Made me love math even more.Swiftly summing up figures to find answer in 5 seconds,Was just awesome!But I never improved even though I loved mathI was only the Un-mathematician math lover One day I am gonna’ have kids And, I will tell them Daddy was a mathematicianI will say, he was good at finding X.And my grades were fantastic, I will emphasize.I still love math and wish to do it even now, I will boast I still love my math Should they ask about my report card?
