Ancelloti was wrong to go for triad

Perhaps Chelsea should have opted for a 4-5-1 formation with Drogba leading the frontline and being supported by attacking midfielders Solomon Kalou and Florent Malouda. In this case, you need to bring in new man Torres and Anelka as late substitutes to support the attack. After losing the midfield battle, Liverpool went ahead to claim victory after a 77-minute Raul Merreilles goal won the game. Chelsea is more effective when Drogba is given a floating role upfront that makes him not easily tight marked by defenders. At Fulham, you do not score cheap goals; they have got sharp, young and motivated midfielders and defenders who are hard to break at times.
