Editor, I am happy to hear that the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), a terrorist group based in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), has since been weakened by regional forces. Though the threat posed by FDLR still exists, I also believe their capacity has been significantly reduced because of concerted efforts by, especially, Rwandan and Congolese authorities. I know if all leaders in this world put their heads together, such terrorist groups would soon be a thing of the past, and ordinary people in DRC and in other parts of the world targeted by terrorists would, once again, lead a normal, decent life.
