RwandAir projects passenger traffic to rise 23%

RwandAir, the national carrier, says that its passenger traffic will rise by 23 percent to 16,000, this year, from 13,000 in 2010, occasioned by new routes. The carrier also plans to launch its flights between Kigali and Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo, beginning March this year, as part of its wider plan to penetrate into the West African market.
