Marriage is a choice made out of love

What a perfect piece of art marriage is , a master piece indeed! Ever wondered and imagined a world without marriages, it would be a boring place to be, with no tender loving care and tomorrows to look forward to. Life would not be worth living except for the religious who choose the course of celibacy. Right from the beginning when God created man, he was always bored, unhappy and needed a companion and so God decided to bring a companion who would be man’s helper—woman. In this light, when a woman comes into a man’s life and the wind of love blows by, their lives can never be the same again. Joy and happiness are ushered in and loneliness finds its way out of a couple’s life. Then if this is true, why do some men find it very difficult to give their wives a little bit of the tender and loving care they deserve—have they ever put to thought why they are together in the first place?Couples deserve to keep close and treat each other like they are the most prized possessions in their lives. Do not get me wrong; it’s a two way thing—men and women alike deserve to be treasured. Marriage is an institution where couples need to always be open, honest, loving and caring towards each other at all times whether in sorrow and happiness. Marriage is supposed to bring joy and happiness to life because God authored it that way. Couples should therefore work towards building their marriage relationship on the strong foundation of love, in order not to distort God’s original plan of providing unconditional joy, happiness and comfort. jacqueuwera@yahoo.com
