After four years since her last live performance, seven since her last studio album, Rihanna made a statement during her return to the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show. The singer may have failed to debut any new music during her performance at Sunday's Super Bowl, but the baby bump she debuted instead almost broke the internet. Wearing an all-red custom jumpsuit, Rihanna appeared on one of the floating platforms, dazzling the crowd, as a group of dancers, all dressed in white, gathered for an energetic show. The audience went wild as the 34-year-old singer launched straight into Better Have My Money. Rihanna performed well-known hits like “We Found Love,” “Where Have You Been,” “Diamonds” and “Work,” and even hinted she was pregnant during the performance, which was buzzing on social media Sunday. In an interview last week, the Bajan singer was asked if there would be any surprises during her performance at Arizona's State Farm Stadium. I'm thinking about bringing someone, she replied. I'm not sure, we'll see. Naturally, fans assumed she was talking about one of the many artists she's collaborated with during her illustrious career. Although nobody twigged at the time, she was in fact hinting that she was pregnant with her second child. Rihanna, along with rapper A$AP Rocky, are the proud parents of a 9-month-old boy. In an interview that took place ahead of her halftime performance, the Grammy winner said she first thought twice about performing at the Super Bowl, but motherhood ultimately inspired her to perform at the big game. Rihanna’s catalog is so extensive – she has 14 number one hits, the fourth most of all time – that any setlist will be on some level a letdown.
