It was a good weekend for Rwandan players plying their trade abroad as experienced attacker Meddie Kagere scored Singida Big Stars’ opening goal in their 1-1 away draw with Ihefu FC while defender Emmanuel Imanishimwe was solid for AS FAR Rabat in the CAF Confederation Cup groups. Central midfielder Samuel Guelette also had a fantastic game in the Belgian third tier for Raal La Louviere. Tanzania Veteran striker Meddie Kagere came off the bench to score the opener in the 64th minute as his club Singida Big Stars FC drew 1-1 with Ihefu during the Tanzanian Premier League. CAF Confederations Cup Emmanuel Imanishimwe was solid at the left back and played full throttle for AS FAR Rabat who went to the 30 June Stadium in Egypt to hold Pyramids FC to a 2-2 draw. France Teenager Irvyn Lomami recovered from an injury but remained an unused substitute as his club Olympique Lyon II drew 2-2 with Aubagne in the CFA League. Elsewhere in Ligue 1, Warren Kamazi was an unused substitute as Toulouse registered a convincing 3-1 win over Stade Rennes. In the U19 division, Hakim Sahabo was in action for Lille who lost 2-1 to Valenciennes Belgium Central midfielder Samuel Gueulette played 90 minutes for Raal La Louviere in their 1-1 draw with Jong Gent in the Belgian third tier. In the Challenger League, Djihad Bizimana was not in the KMSK Deinze team which lost 3-2 to RSCA Futures. England Noam Emeran replaced Mejia Mateo in the 57th minute as Manchester United U21 walloped Everton 4-1 in the Premier League 2. Iraq Faustin Usengimana featured for Al Qasim SC in their 1-0 defeat to Al Diwaniya.
