Team Rwanda head coach Felix Sempoma has named his final squad that he will use during the 15th edition of Tour du Rwanda that takes place from February 19-26. Initially, 16 riders were summoned to join the training camp from December 23, 2022 until Sempoma selected his five-man final squad for the international cycling event. ALSO READ: Mugisha turns focus on Tour du Rwanda In-form rider Moise Mugisha will be leading the roster which also features the likes of Jean Bosco Nsengimana, Samuel Niyonkuru, Masengesho and Eric Manizabayo. ALSO READ: FERWACY boss backs Rwandan riders to shine at Tour du Rwanda Mugisha won the eighth stage of the 2022 edition and thus became the first Rwandan rider to win a stage in Tour du Rwanda since Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) made the race a 2.1 event back in 2019. He returns to the race with a different ambition which is to finally win the 2.1 race. The team, which currently camps at Africa Rising Cycling Center (ARCC), will be aiming to work for Mugisha in an attempt to help him keep the Yellow Jersey at home.
