2010 in local entertainment industry : World Cup
Like anywhere else, especially in Africa, the 2010 FIFA World Cup fever engulfed Rwanda, with the mood peaking in around June and July – as the tournament went on in South Africa. In particular, several Rwandans were among the lucky artistes chosen to perform at the WC opening ceremony gala. Rwanda’s culture was also showcased at the WC cultural village.
