RAYON Sport is set to bring in four new players in the transfer window according to new club owner Albert Rudatsimburwa. Rudatsimburwa bought Rayon Sport early this month and promised the fans he would strengthen the side by signing more players. “We have a good squad but we can still beef it up with a few more signings. Right now, we are looking at signing a striker, defender and two midfielders,” the local media mogul said. “We believe the league title is still there for the taking and we have to keep on working hard.” Rudatsimburwa also confirmed to this paper that the club is working round the clock to lure Shungu back to the club.“We are doing everything to make sure he is in Kigali before the year ends,” Rudatsimburwa added. Shungu, who recently parted company with DRC’s AS Vita Club, is still rated by many as Rayon’s most successful coach after guiding the club to four league titles (1997, 1998, 2002 and 2004) and one Cecafa Club Championship (1998).
