Make Boxing Day your lovers getaway

The fatigue from house chores, pressure as you reserve for visitors and the hard-to-get-along-with relatives is the terrible flash back in your mind. Thinking of the festive season sucks, yet it’s just a few days to Christmas. You can’t stop thinking of those little fights between you and your spouse that were only fuelled by the disgust, confussion and tiredness that came with Christmas day. Why not make the 26th December—Boxing Day a special day for your love? If taken advantage of, Boxing Day can revive those days when were totally off track. You don’t have to consult a wizard about your diminishing love; just do the right thing on Boxing Day and his/her love will be yours for the taking. This is how you do it: Just the two of you: Children, family and friends are important but let boxing be a day, for just the two of you. You can only focus on the past and the future if there is less interruption. Send the kids to their granny, so you can at least get sometime, just for the two of you. If uninterrupted, even in a few hours, a lot of catching up can be done. Remember you have spent the entire year taking care of issues, so here is the time both of you are free. Be adventurous: Try out things that you have never done before. At times daring can bring out the child in you.Surely, your spouse would be delighted to know that it’s still that admirable, fragile, young and skeptical person that he fell for, even after all these years. Banji jumping, a walk in the woods, dancing to oldies music or preparing a daring exotic meal would do. Keep it low and natural: You can’t spare Boxing Day for fighting, can you? Avoid all conversations that would add up to sulking and fighting. This is not a time to revive the skeletons in your closet, its time to look past all the weaknesses and focus on the future. Now that the kids are away, take time to compliment each other, dance with each other and whenever it leads to, and be good enough to follow. Work together: When was the last time you did dishes together? Well, make good use of this chance that has availed itself, make any single activity fun. Chat, may be pour out water on each other, laugh hard if you have to. Anyway, just be grateful that you are still together, after all these years. The dress code matters: Of course many will frown at this but…..your spouse needs to see the best of your gorgeousness. It’s the two of you; keep it as skimpy as you can. Like they often say, short, sexy and precise. A warm bath: What about a warm bathe together? You will get to play as well as help each other in the bathroom. Spoil yourselves, who says you can’t bath him or her? Beautiful destinations: For some reason you can’t have home to yourselves. Opt for a quite but romantic place. Do you ever recall where you met or went to on the first date? Such a place can be ideal because it holds lots of memories, for the both of you. Hold each other: Indeed there is chemistry in holding and body contact. When was the last day you held him/her so close to you? Use Boxing Day to hold her/him like no body is watching. You want to use the embrace to show them that they are the best that has ever happened to you, right? And while you wait on the positive results, remind your partner of how much you care for them. A simple gift can do. Remember, you are kind of renewing your vows.
