Editor, Sometime back, I wrote in The Newtimes’ letter’s page, trying to locate a long time friend called Peter Muyambo, who I had lost touch with for many years. Muyambo lived in Kibungo, Kirehe District, Eastern Province. A day after my letter was published in your esteemed newspaper, a person identified as Robert called and connected me to the family of my old friend. Unfortunately, I learnt with deep shock that my friend had died. Anyway, I have now got the contacts and I hope one day i will visit the late Muyambo’s family. Muyambo was like a father and helped me a great deal. Thank you The Newtimes because without publishing my letter, I would not have got this information.
