EASTERN PROVINCE GATSIBO — Bank populair has finalised arrangements to construct new premises in Kabarore, the bank’s manager said. Emanuel Gisagara told The New Times this week that they also intend to implement a computerised system in their banking which would make the process of serving clients faster. The bank has been operating in rented premises in Kabarore since 1997. Many clients have been complaining about poor service delivery and customer care. But Gisagara said: The building of the bank will have a big impact. We expect to get more clients and create more confidence in us. Its true our services have been slow because of the manual method we use but this is going to change now, Gisagara said. Sources said the construction was derailed by late clearance from the district following a ban on construction which lasted close to two year. Ends
