Editor, It’s indeed good news to know that all people who reside in Rwanda can now get kidney transplants locally. This is a milestone for King Faisal Hospital,Kigali (KFH) and the country at large. I have a feeling that there are many Rwandan patients on peritoneal dialysis but who cannot afford to go abroad for kidney transplants since it’s very costly. What happens is that chances of patients surviving are very minimal. Bravo! Florence Kananikicukiro
