Editor, Kigali City Mayor, Aisa Kirabo Kacyira is spot on when she urges leaders at all levels to be mind-ful of their duties if the country’s goals are to be achieved. True, I think leadership is about guiding the people you lead to achieve desired goals.Great leaders are role models who demonstrate the basics of performing at a high level. We have had ugly cases in the past where several district leaders and government officials were involved in the mismanagement of public funds. As a result, some were fired in disgrace while others ended up in court and later jailed after it was proved that they, indeed, committed crimes.
