Coach Jacob Ghost Mulee revealed in yesterday’s press conference that the players had boycotted the morning training session. “It is a bad day for Kenyan football. It is unfortunate that something like this can happen in a tournament of this magnitude,” the coach repulsively said. It is said that Kenya Football Limited (KFL) had promised to dish out the allowances before Thursday’s 2-1 defeat against Ethiopia but failed to deliver. Cecafa Secretary General Nicholas Musonye has warned the Kenyan team not to use the issue of allowances as a scapegoat. “This is a big tournament and we cannot afford to have it ruined by allowances.
