Amavubi are drawn in Group D alongside Tunisia, Angola and Senegal which according to Tetteh is a balanced group.“We have to aim for the best. We are drawn against very good sides but we can still do well and by that, I mean get past the group stages,” the Ghanaian said. Hosts Sudan, Gabon, Uganda and Algeria make up Group A; Ghana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Niger are in Group B while Group C pits holders DRC against Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Mali. The 16-nation tournament scheduled to run from February 4-25, is reserved for footballers playing in their domestic leagues. Rwanda qualified after edging second round opponents Tanzania on goal aggregates (1-0) and will open their CHAN campaign on February 7 against Senegal. DRC won the inaugural event which was held last year in Ivory Coast. Ends
