Challenge Cup prize money increased
THE winners of this year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup will pocket $30,000 (Rwf17.7m), about Rwf6m more than what last year’s winner claimed. According to Cecafa’s Secretary General Nicholas Musonye, the increase is down to Serengeti Breweries’ lucrative sponsorship package worth about $450,000 (Rwf. 266m).
