The two former champions are some of the teams that have shaped local basketball for almost a decade before the arrival of Patriots and Rwanda Energy Group (REG). The highly anticipated clash finds APR in the fifth place of the table with 8 points from four games, while arch-rivals Espoir lead with 10 points five games. Meanwhile, the two teams reinforced their squads going into this season.
