Zizou Iradukunda commonly known as Zizou Al Pacino, has been one of the biggest local music producers for over 10 years. He has been the brains behind many hit songs like Ihogoza, featuring The Ben and Mike Kayihura, and Ubanza Nkunze featuringvRwandan music stars. In March, he will release his second album he dubbed ‘Doxa’ that comprises only gospel songs. Zizou shared with The New Times that doing this gospel project was a revelation he has had. In 2015, he became a Christian and has since been learning a lot by reading about the gospel and the Glory of God, which inspired the name ‘Doxa,’ a Greek word that means ‘Glory’. “While I was digging deeper into God’s kingdom, how to praise and worship him better in his glory, I came across the word ’Doxa’ and so I got inspired to do an album project about it. It was my way of worshipping as well as the aspect of sharing the message to all Rwandans as well,” Zizou said. The seven –song album, which he has been working on since last year will have some gospel songs and some inspirational songs. Zizou is known for his uniqueness in bringing together different all-star artists to do a song, which will be the same for his upcoming album. The producer explained that he is the mastermind of this album, but he didn’t do it all alone. “From the idea, brainstorming, the writing, melody and rhythm composing, recording, production and all the stages of music including the videos, I couldn’t do it all alone. I have some people who are helping to make the project a masterpiece according to my vision which I believe will help so many people to grow and glow in a more Godly way.” ‘Doxa’ album will be released on March 25, and it is the second album of Zizou Al Pacino after his debut, ‘Five by Five Experience’ which went out in 2022.
