Noam Emeran's goal against Blackburn Rovers U21 at the Leigh Sports Village on January 27 has been nominated for the Manchester United goal of the month award. Emeran put in a stellar performance over the weekend as he scored a superb goal on the stroke of halftime to help the Red Devils U21 beat Blackburn 2-1 in the Premier League 2. He took a pass from Daniel Gore, cut back, dummied his marker before firing past goalkeeper Jordan James Eastham. The goal is among 12 goals vying for the Manchester United goal of the month for January. Other goals that are in contention include Luke Shaw's fantastic finish against Bournemouth, Marcus Rashford three goals including the winner against Manchester City and Antony's wonderful curler against Charlton in the League Cup. This is the first time the French-born Rwandan winger has had a goal selected as part of the goal of the month contenders in his Manchester United career. Emeran has made six appearances for Manchester United U21 this season scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
