World Population Day

Editor, With much enthusiasm I support the move by UNFPA - United Nations Population Fund - to launch the State of the World Population 2010 Report on October 20. This comes after the UN Security Council passed a landmark resolution 10 years ago calling on governments to protect women from rape during wartime and to tap the power of women to keep the peace and rebuild societies once fighting has stopped.
