Buchaman the father

Best known for his words ‘abakyala lwaki temumatira,’ literally meaning ‘why ladies don’t fancy me’, Bugembe Mark, aka Buchaman, is a happy father of one. Despite his busy schedule, Buchaman finds time for his family and he helps the community whenever he can. His son, prophet Shiloh Bugembe is 5months old and lives with his mom Shakira Bugembe in Muyenga, Kampala.Buchaman describes his wife who is of rwandan origin as lovely and caring. “She is so sweet. She does not discriminate even if I am disabled,” he says. Surprisingly Buchaman hopes that his son will grow to become a prophet not of God but of music. According to him, this is the best gift he has ever received. Apart from music and now parenthood, Buchaman likes hanging out with friends and his latest mission is to prove beyond reasonable doubt that success is in no way held back by disability. “People should know that success does not come on a silver plate and not all disabled people are useless,” he says and insists that this is his driving force. “I am here to prove that God did not forget us the lame,” he concludes.
