Kagame supervises land re-distribution

EASTERN PROVINCE - President Paul Kagame was in the Eastern Province in the course of this week for his working tour to oversee the land re–distribution exercise. Kayumba Nyamwasa Rwanda’s envoy to India, gave away at least 50 hectares of his 76 hectare farm located in Rwempasha Sector, Nyagatare. The land re-allocation exercise, which kicked off on Tuesday has had various senior government officials’ formerly huge chunks of land re-distributed to the landless. The President returns to the province to continue with the exercise on Monday.
