The country’s Number One comedian Atome, last Friday night unveiled his latest play entitled ‘Identity Card’ at Serena Hotel, Kigali. ‘Identity Card’ is about a young man who grew up in exile and suffered discrimination before he joined the army that liberated his country. Atome’s show is indeed a crowd puller. Comedy fans thronged at Serena Hotel in huge numbers to shake off the week-long stress. Revellers who turned up were not disappointed and by 10 pm, when Atome wrapped up his show, they had gotten real value for their money. Atome’s performance was really hilarious; his fans laughed till the tears ran down their cheeks. In attendance, among others was Joseph Habineza, the Minister of Sports and Culture. Ends
