KIM students celebrate Kagame victory

Students of Kigali Institute of Management (KIM), have been urged to continue playing a major role in sustainable development. The call was made on Friday by the Minister of Forestry and Mines, Christophe Bazivamo while addressing KIM students at the main campus in Nyarugunga Sector, Kicukiro District. This was during celebrations in honour of President Paul Kagame’s victory in the just concluded Presidential elections. “I thank you on behalf of the RPF for the support and contribution during both the presidential campaigns and elections. Re-electing President Paul shows that you have much trust, and love for him,” Bazivamo, RPF vice chairman said. He requested those present to be the light of the nation by striving to change people’s mindsets towards development in all aspects of life and to always advocate for social transformation. Bazivamo further encouraged them to fight poverty and illiteracy in the region, saying it would enable the country to achieve its goals. The Mayor of Kicukiro Distirct, Jules Ndamage, who is the chairman of RPF in his district, commended KIM for organizing the event and urged the institute to continue the spirit of supporting the party. Shortly after the function, the RPF chairman at KIM, Richard Gatabazi, revealed that KIM has 800 students, 650 of which are RPF supporters. He also said that during the just-concluded presidential campaigns, they visited all the districts while campaigning for Kagame. Ends
