Artists, showbiz personalities welcome Kagame’s inauguration and see a brighter future

Cobra, local entertainment mogul   In 2003, for example, Rwanda had fewer than 10 fairly well known artists. At that time we only had two recording studios worth talking about. Today, as we usher in a new era, there are literally hundreds of different artists and even superstars of our own making. We have over 30 recording studios in the country. Most of these production houses are based in Kigali, while others are in the countryside. Going forward, I must say that artists have played a great role in advancing the country’s music industry. We also welcome and appreciate more support from government as we settle to deepen the showbiz industry in the next 7 years. Ends
