District builds water channel

GICUMBI - District authorities have hired a contractor to build a water tunnel to control flood waters from Byumba market, which normally affect residents of Rwasama village during the rainy season. According to the district officer in charge of infrastructure Eng. Moussa Nzabandora, the problem occurred in the last season due to the fact that local authorities had failed to hire a contractor to do the job.
