AFTER a below par performance in the Prinsloo 7s last weekend, Rwanda’s men national rugby team- the Silverbacks hope to redeem themselves in the Uganda 7s circuit that is slated for September 24 in Kampala. Silverbacks failed to make the Bowl Cup final after losing to Kenyan side Blakblad 19-15 but Gerald Nsenga, who is the national technique director in the rugby federation has no doubt that the team is on the up. “It would be unfair to be so hard on the team considering the fact that it was without three experienced players in Koko Cyambara (winger), Didier Kamanzi (scrum half) and Jean Leo Twizeyimana,” he reasoned. “I have no doubt that the trio would have made a big difference in Nakuru.” Ends
