Rwandan Premier League side Espoir FC have announced the signing of Ugandan midfielder Joseph Janjali. The 26-year-old offensive midfielder on Tuesday, January 17, penned a one-year contract with the Rusizi-based club after passing the trials which he has been undergoing for the past two weeks. His contract will run until May 2024. Janjali previously played for UPDF FC, Vipers SC, Bright Stars FC and Chaux OG. Espoir finished the first round of the league at the bottom of the table with just 7 points from 15 matches and the new signing is already seen as the man to play a significant role to lift the club up from the relegation zone. Times Sport understands that the club isn’t done with the January transfer business as the management hopes to make more signings to beef up their squad before the transfer window ends.
