UN inspects police ahead of Haiti deployment

A two-man team from the United Nations (UN) yesterday inspected the Formed Police Unit (FPU), Rwanda, which will be deployed in Haiti for Peacekeeping operations. Giorgio Giaimo and Priya Sehgal from the UN divisions of Police and logistical support respectively first met with the Commissioner General of Police (CGP), Emmanuel Gasana at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters in Kacyiru who briefed them on the FPU preparations.
