When the judge sets you free, you shall be free indeed

This is in response to the article that was released in the New Times; Ndengeye set free. I wonder why one would wish another to be treated like an animal even when they are in a place called home? The English have a saying that goes, “East or West, home is best.” Let’s allow our brother to enjoy this place that is home to him, there is no reason as to why our courts of law can not take an outstanding position and they have to first wait and here from the court in Belgium or even the Belgian police. They got the communication and they did not take action just in time, is that a reason enough to keep our brother in prison on charges that he did not even commit within the boarders of this country. Thanks to the Gasabo Higher Instance Court for the stand that they took to let Ndengeye go as a free man considering the fact that he had committed no crime in Rwanda, and that no criminal proceedings had been started in local judicial organs against him. I am not well versed with the law and have not been to any law school but you don’t need to go to school in order to tell whether you are a man or woman – natural inclination will help you tell. Proof to convince the court to keep the guy behind bars is no where; no charges are set up against him according to the local courts. Genuinely why not let this man go free? No need to worry because according to the New Times Ndengeye will be travelling to Belgium on the 14th of Jan and that will be good for the Belgian authorities to get him if they think he still has cases to answer. But as per now let Ndengeye walk tall and big because when the judge sets you free you shall be free indeed. Kanombe
