Waiting the Old-Fashioned Way is History!

From time immemorial the rule has been that men are the ones who should hit on girls. Who wrote this rule, no one knows. This rule has not stopped women from becoming sharper; they need not wait for a guy to walk up to them. Why wait? Sure it’s cool to have a guy walk up to you and say sweet nothings to but if you have the guts to do it, then why not? Who said vibing was for guys alone? I’m not saying women should go out and throw themselves in front of everyman and announce their undying crush. Do it in a chick and classy way. Sending him a drink from the bar is a no go area. Try not to do what guys do. Getting embarrassed when he doesn’t feel your vibe is not a wish. The only thing you can do is talk to him as friends. Make him comfortable with you because you don’t want to scare him off with your boldness. Nothing frightens a man more than a chick with bigger balls than his! If you are naturally that way, then do your thing. It’s always best to be yourself. Shelly Niyonsaba at Union Trade Center (UTC), Kigali says women should not fear to go for what they want. “If women can run for president, take over male dominated jobs in engineering, construction and the likes, then they can hit on guys too,” says Niyonsaba. “There’s nothing wrong with it provided she doesn’t appear too desperate!” she adds. To be perfectly honest, guys these days want to be hit on. Knowing that a cute chick is eyeing him and looks every bit interested gives a man overwhelming satisfaction. When that cute chick walks over to them, it becomes sheer bliss! It doesn’t get better than that. Sometimes women don’t realise how much strength it takes a man to approach them. Especially when she looks like she just fell out of Vogue Magazine! In this day and age, women are proposing to men and doing all sorts of crazy things that are considered a guy’s duty. This may sound strange but it’s a lot easier proposing to people you love and care about rather than to a complete stranger who might take one look at you and turn the other way! Hitting on a guy is not for the faint hearted and is certainly not for those who can’t handle rejection!
