Men Police 2-0 Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle Women Kiziguro 2-0 ES Mukingi Champions Police handball club on Sunday, January 8, retained the men’s beach handball title for the second time in a row. The tournament took place over the weekend at the shores of Lake Kivu in Rubavu District. The law enforcers won the tournament after defeating Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle 2-0 in the final. The champions also won the competition in 2015, 2017,2019 and 2021. In the Women category, Kiziguro won the title after beating ES Mukingi 2-0 in the final. The two-day beach handball tournament attracted a total of 13 teams across the country competing in senior, junior, and veteran categories, in both genders.
