Editor, I love this city, and having lived here since 1994 I have seen it grow. There is no much growth that sometimes it takes the breath away. However, I have a complaint. Why isn’t this city becoming more than nice roads and swanky buildings? All those things are great, but I feel like Kigali is pretty sterile in certain ways. I’m a relatively young person, so I’m not exactly a homebody. I like to go out and have a great time. Once you’ve gone out once to the well-known haunts, that’s it. And, if you aren’t someone who wants to drink a lot, you don’t have options. There barely any concerts, museums, theatre troupes, amusement parks or anything of the like. Unless this happens, Kigali will never be the city I feel it is destined to be. Sam RwegoKimihurura
