Soccer OUT of favour Rwandan international Henri Munyaneza has undergone successful knee surgery, Times Sport has learnt. The Denderleeuw F.C striker, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Belgium’s Germinal Bierschot, will now spend three months on the sidelines. “The surgery went well and I have to take a break and allow the knee to heal fully,” he told Times Sport during a brief phone interview During his spell at Germinal Bierschot, Munyaneza finished as second top scorer with nine goals. The 26-year-old also said that he is ready to play for Amavubi Stars in the forthcoming 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers should he be called upon. “I have always made myself available for selection as far as Amavubi Stars is concerned and that is not going to change,” the striker said.
