Bugesera FC skipper Brian Muhinda is confident his side can excel in the second round of the 2022/23 Rwanda Premier League which resumes on January 20. Muhinda admits the first round did not go well but he remains positive that all the loopholes in the team have been rectified, giving the team confidence to fight back when the league returns. The first round was not good for us because we started badly. We lost 7 games but we managed to get 18 points. We also beat APR for the first time in many years which was encouraging, Muhinda told Times Sports. With hardwork, we can do better in the second round. As club captain, I personally believe we will do well because the team doesn’t count injuries which cost us in the first round. We now have an intact squad ready to fight, he added. Bugesera are 12th on the league table with 18 points having managed five victories, three draws and seven defeats in fifteen games. They will host Sunrise FC at Bugesera Stadium when the league returns to action on January 20 .
