Perfect Weekend… : Kristina Osbjer

Kristina Osbjer is the FAO ECTAD, Associate Professional Officer at the Regional Health Centre Eastern Africa, in Nairobi. She is currently operating in Rwanda particularly with Rwanda Animal Resources Development Authority (RARDA). Osbjer says for the time she has been in the country, the weekend has always been interesting. And below she shares with you: On Friday evening at around 8p.m is when I start my weekend. As you are aware its World Cup season, I get to the big screen at Laico Umubano hotel, where I enjoy the games. To me, when I sleep without the rush to wake up on Saturday it’s really a weekend. I however wake up to have breakfast, go swimming, and sun bathing at the same hotel. For lunch, I have really enjoyed different meals. I will however miss the salads when I leave. I also go for some handcraft shopping to buy some Rwandan made unique products which are not easily found in Nairobi. On Sunday, I go for physical fitness in the gym. I also go out for a moto ride. And finally an evening walk on the nice free streets. That makes my weekend perfect. mugoyag@yahoo.com
