Cheating is the action of pretending to obey the rules of the game while secretly subverting them, or when a person in a committed relationship is physically involved with some other person other than their spouse, but with the technological development of cell phones and the internet, the definition of cheating has been expanded to include ‘Emotional infidelity’. Every good thing usually comes with a hideous side, when cyber technology knocked on our doors, we didn’t only open for it but we hugged it with so much hunger and innocence because we didn’t know it would turn against us. Today the prevalence of online affairs is apparent; this epidemic is causing breakups of countless relationships and marriages, those who managed to endure are nursing wounds while trust went into the bin. As the time goes by and technology is nascent, a cheating partner no longer has to visit the chat-room or internet café- internet infidelity has quickly graduated from computer to phone infidelity. Now it’s common for a cheating husbands or boyfriends to save their secret lovers name in their phones with the opposite sex names, you won’t find ‘Irene’ in his phone, it will be Jacob, if you check the received or dialed numbers you’ll find they are all males’. The same to the dishonest Ladies, they also save names of male secret partners with female name, some people they agree to be called female names or male when the sex is the opposite, so when ‘He’ calls, you actually get the phone unsuspicious and pass it to her, and she will go like, “Sandra hi” ‘When the actual caller is a man. Women instinctively understands every gesture, facial expression, every small nuance of voice thus making it easy for them to catch you and hard for you to even get closer to ‘get them’, but when it comes to phones and internets no matter the sex, these little devils are turning out to be our weak-points, so the culprit is sooner than later get caught. Here are some of the most common signs of a cheating partner via cyber. -Your spouse shuts off the internet or the computer when you approach; such a move demonstrates panic, this is a significant indicator of deviant behavior. -Your spouse spend excess hours on-line in queer hours like in the middle of the night or very early in the morning, it may not be ‘computer magnetism or obsession ’, or love of work as you think -At home the computer and the monitor are positioned away from your sight, -Your partner clears all internet history after chat session, or installed a soft ware that automatically rid this information -Using a low voice or hangs-up the phone when you step into the room, -Sets up a new email and doesn’t tell you about it or change the password -She/he jumps when the phone rings, and no matter what they are doing at the moment they skip and pick it, She/he leaves the cell phone at the place of work intentionally, or becomes very protective of it.
