Women football league Rambura 0-2 AS Kigali Bugesera 0-4 Ruhango Rubavu 1-1 Les Lionnes APR 4-1 Aspej APR coach Egidia Kayitesi has vowed that her team will come out in full force next season in a bid to reclaim the league title. The military side, who wrapped up their league campaign with a commanding 4-1 victory over Aspej on Sunday, had no reason to smile after failing to wrestle the title from rivals AS Kigali who successfully defended their title after last Wednesday’s 4-2 win over Remera Rukoma (GSSR). APR finished second, five points off the pace and Kayitesi conceded that inadequate pre-season training was partly to blame for their failure to challenge AS Kigali. “We only trained for ten days before the season while AS Kigali trained for about five weeks,” she said. “But we won’t make that mistake again.”Eleven teams took part in this year’s league campaign and they include: AS Kigali, APR, Bugesera, Les Lioness, Ruhango, Aspej, Rambura, Inyemera, Muhoza, GSSR and Rubavu.
