Chan qualifier Tomorrow Rwanda vs Tanzania TANZANIA’S Taifa Stars are expected to arrive in Kigali this afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s crunch 2011 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Amavubi Stars. It is reported that the team will jet in aboard Kenya Airways before heading to their hotel-Alpha Palace. With Brazil’s World Cup warm up game also waiting in the wings, Taifa Stars will only have hours to recuperate. However, Tanzania head Coach Marcio Maximo does not want the situation to be blown out of proportion insisting that the team is ready to play the two high-profile matches. In the first leg which was played on May 1 in Dar es Salaam, Rwanda and Tanzania played out to a 1-all draw. Rogers Tchouassi put Amavubi ahead but Azam’s new signing Mrisho Ngasa equalised for the home side. The winner will qualify for next year’s CHAN to be hosted in Sudan. Ends
