Kagame Cup Today URA vs Simba 2pmAtraco vs Sofapaka 4pm ATRACO Coach Sam Timbe concedes that Sofapaka will not be easy to break down this afternoon because they are a very physical side. The two sides face off at Nyamirambo in the final group C fixture of the on-going Kagame Cup. With back to back wins over URA (3-0) and Simba (1-0), the Kenyan outfit can afford to lose today because they are already guaranteed a place in the last eight. On the other hand, Atraco, who bounced back from their 2-1 loss against Simba with a comprehensive 4-0 win over URA on Wednesday, need a win to stand a chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals. “Sofapaka are a very physical side and can out muscle any team in the competition but I have a game plan,” Timbe, who guided Atraco to last year’s title after defeating El-Merreikh in the final said. Meanwhile, Sofapaka boss Sam Simbwa, who continues to label his side as the tournament underdogs, says that his team is not about to switch off. “The fact that we are making our first appearance in the tournament is enough to put us in the underdog category but we have done well and we intend to continue doing so,” the former Atraco boss said. The Atraco-Sofapaka game will be preceded by a clash between URA and Simba. While URA are out of the tournament after losing their first two games, Simba have everything to play for as a win coupled with a defeat or draw for Atraco will seal their slot in the last eight. Sofapaka are the only side yet to concede a goal in the tournament.
