Nyanza Fc coach Hamis Rwabukwisi is confident about his team’s chances of playing in the Primus National League next season. Nyanza will count on home advantage when they host La Jeunesse in the return leg of their semifinal play-off after seeing his team keep a clean sheet in the first leg on Saturday at Regional stadium, Nyamirambo. Although the Southern Province based club shut out the pre-match favourites, Rwabukwisi was left disappointed that they did not get an away goal, which he says his team’s overall performance merited. “The boys were very good for the whole 90 minutes and we were all disappointed that we did not score an away goal. “But I’m pretty sure that we will qualify for the top flight. I have already designed a game plan for that match,” the 50-year-old said. The two sides will clash again on May 8 in the return leg in Nyanza. Meanwhile, Muhanga produced a shock 1-0 away win in the other semifinal play-off tie against Kibuye at Gatwaro stadium. Ends
