Amarria with five goals leads Bokota by one going into today’s final game of the GTV sponsored Cecafa Challenge Cup between the two countries. Sudan face Rwanda for the very first time in the history of the 80 year-old Africa’s oldest football competition and both strikers are the reliable main goal poachers for each team. Amarria said yesterday morning during his team’s training session that at the moment he is assured of the accolade just because he has five goals. However, Bokota is cursing the referees at the tournament who have taken away two of his goals so far. “I have scored two goals, one during the quarter-final against Zanzibar and another in the semi-final against Uganda on Thursday but all have been ruled offside. “I would have assured myself the top scorer accolade in past two days but who knows, I may grab two goals tomorrow (today) for my team against them (Sudan) and take it to Kigali,” the Rayon Sports forward said. The 2007 SMS best footballer of the year is confident that Amavubi must win this year’s championship. “There were so many good teams in this tournament but we have managed to get through all challenges and reached the finals, which means that we are playing good football,” Bokota added.
