Although Liverpool’s 2-0 loss at Chelsea midweek scuppered hopes of a successful season, I believe it was one of the Reds’ better performances at Stamford Bridge and I was pleased with the contributions of the younger players in the team on the night. I think that it was one of our best performances with the blues, especially bearing in mind that we were without our two best attacking players in Fernando Torres and Steven Gerard. Maybe at times we tried to take the extra pass instead of having a crack and that’s maybe something we can learn from Avraham’s boys. If you have more shoots, you are going to get more deflections. Whatever the case, I do not harbor other fun’s insults. We’ve played Chelsea a few times away from home in the last few years and haven’t scored. We didn’t score again but the fact that we played well with a team that we hadn’t played with before, we have to take heart from that. We have been hoodwinked for so long and we do recognize that we deserved better. Whether we loose or win, we shall never walk alone. Kanombe
