She Made me a Fantastic Bachelor

Bachelorhood, bachelorhood…anybody must agree with me these are the best days not to miss out on anything your life desires. I mean this is the time of excitement, when you feel the sky is the limit; you want to explore the whole world or you rather feel sometimes you have no regrets and the whole world is yours. During my fresh bachelorhood days I was still the young chap in his early 20s, just finished my degree but did not have a job at the time. All the best things passed by me but I could not take chances because I was new in the field and of course I was planning on how to start a new life. However something unexpected came and swept me off my feet. It was this Jamaican girl, Susan… she was intelligent, same age as me, with a sense of humor, care and had the money to buy a Mercedes Benz, a yatch and have a luxurious life, for two. My friend Dan used to say that being a bachelor means having major three gears; girls, cocktails and money. However I assumed the same with none of them, but my soul provider Suzan was there ready to offer everything. When it came to having fun, I ranked her number one; I learnt a lot of things from her, the “dirty dance” from Jamaica, taking tequila shots, going to classic places and being me. Parties, nightclubs, bars, I was surely trading places. Drinking, music, dancing served our days. When it came to riches, my wallet was growing obese! However, we differed on one thing; I disliked smoking while she smoked like a chimney. More so the most amusing thing was that whenever she got drunk she would propose to me! It was something like this: “You gonna marry mi man?” she always asked in Jamaican. And the next morning we would break up and make up before 24hours elapsed. There was a time when I almost thought I was already married, I mean she was always at my house cooking dinner, and she stayed for the night. I surely was welcoming a good life. Before I met Suzan, my room had never been organized, but I learnt to mind my bed in an attempt to impress her. The best part of it was that Susan always said, our relationship was based on a contract so, I had a free pass to do whatever I wanted without her nagging me with endless questions. I mean I was a bachelor, why would I need to stick to one girl; after all, our relationship was based on contract. You know when you are a bachelor, the ladies you come across always seem better than the one you had 20 minutes ago. So I always took my chances to explore. Nevertheless, its three years since she went back to her home land, Jamaica. She told me she is happily married. We communicate and she still tells me she had the best fun with me. Thanks to her my bachelorhood days were awesome and am now moving on with my new “campus catch” Madina. Ends
