Why did you get married?

Marriage is the bond that holds people together, and a contract between a man and a woman, stating that they will be forever respectful, loving and caring for each other. The question is why do people consciously decide to engage themselves into this lifetime commitment, despite all its challenges. “I got married on January 1, 2000.
