Editor, I wonder what Rwandan refugees still living in Nakivale refugee camp in Uganda are up to? It’s been years since there has been need for Rwandans to live in refugee camps and surely they know that. Is living in a refugee camp, where they have been stopped from carrying out farming activities in an effort to compel them to return home, better than coming home and seeing their families again? I want to thank the Ugandan authorities for been tough on these refugees. There is no reason for them to be “fighting for land in foreign countries”, as the Rwandan Minister of Local Government James Musoni put it so eloquently. Janet KansiimeRemera
